Golden Corral Buffet & Grill Oklahoma City

“I went on Thanksgiving with my daughter. There was a line, but it moved quickly to pay, and then another short wait to be seated. There was plenty of food to choose from. I got a medium rare steak from the grill, and it was great! As was the grilled chicken. Sweet potato casserole,green bean casserole, and rolls with the honey butter! Finished it off with a piece of pumpkin pie and pecan pie! The only complaint we both had was that there wasn't any vanilla ice cream to be found! Our server was really nice, and we made she got her tip!”

“This Golden Corral deserves more credit. It manages to stay busy regularly. The food here tastes great. Flavorful. Properly cooked. Tons of senior citizens love eating here plus families. Because of this, I think that’s why this location will bring cutlery and drinks to when you place your receipt on the table. The one in the state I live in has you grabbing your own cutlery and drinks. The servers are so busy that sometimes they may not get your cutlery and water by the time you get back to your table from the buffet. I understand because of how busy they are, but they WILL get to you. So I tip the waitresses because they do hustle. They hustle more than a higher end restaurant I once went to in which several servers ignored waiting customers…when it was slow! In fact all the staff here is industrious: chefs, dishwashers, servers, cashiers. They all work together like a well-oiled machine. But what I found most interesting about this Golden Corral is that people feel at home here. The servers on occasion chit chat with the customers themselves as if they’d known them for a long time. I’ve sat having lunch with my Mom and I can hear cheers and greetings at the entrance, “Girl!!!!!! So good to see you. It’s been a long time!” While that may not please every customer, I cannot deny people feel comfortable eating here with large groups, families, friends, fellow construction workers. You name it. Like a community. The atmosphere feels bright and inviting, not dark and modernesque at other buffets I’ve been to. People feel welcome. Content. I like it.”

“It's a typical golden corral. I got a to go order but it appeared to be clean. I went kind of early in the day, 11:45. I was supposed to get an email or text to let me know my food was ready (I ordered the day before. It was the family sized pot roast and a dozen rolls), but I didn't get either. I didn't even see where a receipt was emailed to me. I didn't have issues picking up my order though. I did call before to be sure it was ready. The young lady that helped me was very kind and helpful. There is plenty of parking and the restaurant is close to shopping and other things to do like the movie theater and altitude whatever number it is.”

“I’m on a feeding pump and not really supposed to eat. But it was a special occasion for my husband. So they allowed me a big cost reduction so I could have applesauce and soup and jello. Staff was super friendly and helpful. Atmosphere was great. Environment was clean and comfortable. Highly recommend!”

“The food was really good the service was least of my favorite here. I asked if they could put out some more deviled eggs. The waitress said well they'll put some out here in a little bit I waited about 45 minutes and asked again she said well normally they'll be out by now never got them until right before we was leaving I seen that they were stalked. I grabbed one and they was not good they were hard”
